We Want You - To Join Us At The Festival! Saturday, August 25th and Sunday, August 26th 11:00 am - 6:00 pm both days Each morning King Henry VIII and his court will preside over an opening gate ceremony welcoming guests to the Illinois Renaissance Festival and leading them into the village. Each afternoon, after the final joust, King Henry VIII and his court will adjourn to the Village Inn with Festival guests for a final pub sing before leading everyone to the closing gate! Please Note: In the spirit of the Renaissance, it is customary and traditional for Performers to "pass the hat" and accept a tips for their performance! All Steel must be Sheathed and Peace-tied. No Black Powder Pistols, Bows & Arrows Polearms or Firearms are permitted. No Pets or Alcohol are permitted to be brought into the Village.
